It’s been over a month now (eek!) since I did the installation at Dover Street Market in New York City.
It was magnificent…the people, the store, the clothes, the jewelry.
I am poor now.
The installation was massive…spanning 6 floors.
I could not have done it with out the help of the village it took. This includes Sarah Gallagher, Heidi Swift, Heidi Heleniak, Kevin Abrams, Margaux Clermontel, Lori Cohen, Emily Yuet-Ting Choi, Joni Webster, Kristine Souza, Robin Kolber, Mercedes Zegarra-Soja, Patricia De La Rosa and her posse of knitters, Sarah Bartholow, Kristen Baranovic, Bonnie Markel, and my son, Isaac Fergus.
It really did take a village, and I love you all for being a part of it.
We spent the better part of 2 weeks making this happen….. spending every day in this space….and so I’d also like to thank….
these guys for making us laugh every 5 minutes
These lovely people from Rose Bakery for good conversation and caramelized white chocolate (!!)
Nightly Oyster Shooters from John Dory Oyster Bar.
And Michele Lamy, for walking in on the last day of the install and becoming my new favorite girl obsession.
If you are visiting the city, please put this at the top of your list…and prepare to spend lots and lots of money.
love those colours…x
