Handsome Walter

This is Walter….staring out at the beautiful lake. Lugano was amazing. I need to devise a plan to get back there in winter. Apparently it is a whole other set of beauty…and fondue and raclette is served then…yuuuummmm.

I literally just finished a project in Taipei, Taiwan. If things keep turning out this good, summer of 2012 may just be the best summer ever….

I’ll post pics soon…for now…check out this portrait made out of little hello kitty stickers! I want a self portrait, PLEASE!

Discoteca Rustica

I know what I am doing tonight!

Aside from ravin with the locals, we actually did get some work done.

Here is a sneak peak….This is Carlos, our assistant, who also works at the hotel. I can’t tell if he thinks I am nuts or enjoys the change of pace by working with us. maybe both.

After lunch, we were caught in the rain which turned into a great opportunity to see a little bit of this town.

This tunnel is completely covered in local newspaper. It was done by 2 women from here. It took them 2 months and a team of 6. It’s pretty amazing and is probably one of the coolest places to throw a party.

other noteworthy installations….

So today may be a wash as far as work is concerned, but I’m totally thrilled to see how cool this town is….

even the McFlurry looks pretty tasty!

no worries though.. I wouldn’t let myself go to a McD’s in Europe. I’ll see what Cafe Trani has to offer instead.

Imagehow could I resist, right??
I am on the first leg of a 16 flight trip. I hope that means I will have many stories to tell…. so far so good.
I landed in Lugano and was greeted by this adorable person holding this sign up.

We are staying at the WALTER hotel which is where the installation will take place…poor Walter…he has no clue what’s in store for him this week.

This is our view from hotel room. INSANE!
This is the most beautiful place in the world ( note: apparently I say that about every beautiful place I have been to.)

hello 2012…sorry I’m a bit late

oh how time flies…..

I know there are several current projects to share, but I think I need to have a proper post about the Insight collaboration I did that included dreamy installations in Bali and a super rad collection of board shorts and tees. Although it’s been over a year since I was in Bali, the collection is now available…..so I’m convincing myself that this long overdue post is actually perfectly timed! ….yes yessss.

here’s a look at some of it…..tell me what you think. I provided all the men in my family with swim wear that almost makes you believe they know how to ride the wave….almost.
