PechaKucha is RAD

I knew very little about PechaKucha until the nice folks at Dyal and Partners approached me about speaking. I’m like “sure, why not?” and then they told me the fun little game I get to play of having 20 seconds per slide to talk… and you see, I love to talk, so this was a big problem. I managed to get through with very little rambling. I am really REALLY glad I had those 2 beers before I went up. I know that sounds bad, gross, but I’m afraid you would have heard many more “ums” and “likes” and “I means” .

Tell me what you think.

knitta’d iPhone cases

iPod Case
I really love how the iPhone covers turned out over at Uncommon, and it feels great to hear it from the experts at New York Times “T” Magazine. Thanks to Leanne Shapton and my favorite designer in the whole wide world, RACHEL COMEY.

“Even iPhones get cold. If you, like me, suffer from acute anthropomorphism, you need to know about about Magda Sayeg. Her blog, Knitta Please, details her latest projects, which include knitting covers for unused signposts in Texas, a Freddy Kruger toilet-paper doll and crutch warmers for a relative. She also designs bright zigzag, grid and stripey iPhone and BlackBerry case patterns, which you can customize yourself, for the product design team Uncommon. Literally warmest regards.”
